I brought this book because I had come across it while I was home in England and was excited when I found it on Amazon. I have just embarked on hand embroidery and will be using the illustrations as inspiration . I love birds. I feed them here in Upstate NY and love to observe and draw them. I miss the birds from back home but delight in the variety I see here. The text is adequate for my needs as I have books with more detail on habitat etc., so having said all that I think the illustrations are just great. What a great deal, less than one dollar for a good book all the way from UK. Thanks Amazon.
